I’ve looked into Alzheimer’s due to my long history of adverse events to metals in medical devices which led to type 4 allergies to certain metals. What I see after reading this article is there is no explanation for the deteriorating gut health in the first place. I believe the gut problem is a symptom of the process not the cause. I have had many neurological issues in the past to metals also due to my adverse events.

From my own observations I believe metals are the cause of almost all disease but diet plays a huge role. In highly polluted areas of Mexico children are developing the symptoms of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Scientists discovered the metals from pollution in their brain stems. Scientists have also developed a drug that has cured the symptoms of Alzheimer’s in mice. It works by clearing blocked channels in the brain. I believe they are blocked with metals. Metabolic dysfunction is also a big issue. Titanium has been shown to cause metabolic dysfunction. Titanium allergy is also characterised by the malfunction of the autonomic functions of the body. Everyone who gets implant allergy gets metabolic issues. They either loose weight uncontrollably or put it on. I also believe animal fat is necessary for a healthy metabolism and I believe that the demonisation of animal fat has led to obesity. Thousands of people around the world with autoimmune disorders find all their symptoms disappear if they shift to a diet of ruminant meat and fat. The fat is important. Functional medicine drs also use animal fat to cure type 2 diabetes. Those overweight will lose weight on a diet of red meat and fat while those underweight will gain weight and my own experiences lead me to believe that this is because it is healing the metabolism. Historic medical research I have read many decades ago also concluded that we need a certain percentage of animal fat in our diet for good health. If I remember correctly they thought 30%.

I’ve spoken to many others round the world with metal allergies and I believe exposure young in life can cause things like chrohns disease. So gut health and function are affected as in Alzheimer’s. Titanium allergy can speed up or slow down the digestive process too in a functional manner so can really mess with gut health. Titanium was found to be toxic to humans in 1972 yet for years it’s been a very common food additive. It is everywhere. Titanium dioxide is also in medicines and cosmetics and personal care products like toothpaste, soap and skin creams. Scientists believe it’s the main cause of the huge increase in autoimmune disorders and certain cancers worldwide as it’s even in the air we breathe. So I believe that metals are the cause of Alzheimer’s and those with type 4 allergy are most susceptible. And that gut health is a symptom of progression but not a cause

Yeah, it makes sense too. Knowledge = power! I think thats why fasting helps because it detoxifies the body.

Specially about metals allergy, a long time ago, I had a root canal and a metal crown was placed - I think it might have been the worsen my overall health (headaches, getting sick easily etc). I finally pulled the whole tooth out and I felt better.

Sounds like you had a galvanic reaction between the root Cana and crown. My first titanium alloy spinal implant had a galvanic reaction with my amalgam fillings so I had to get them removed too. You did the right thing. Public health operate on the assumption they know everything there is to know about the human body and that attitude causes a lot of harm. They completely ignore the bodies electromagnetic system yet it plays a major role in how we function. They also ignore the role of metals in disease. In New Zealand drs will jump down your throat if you try telling them that metals cause harm.

The gut problem is ABSOLUTELY part of the cause and NOT a symptom. Metal allergies? Metals are poisonous and toxins which are cleared out through a healthy digestive system. Drugs are not and will never be the answer. EVERY drug EVER approved for Alzheimer's has failed. Every. Single. One. And there are multiple sources for Alzheimer's which is the reason the single prong approaches fail.

In my comment I questioned what causes the gut problem. Can you tell me what causes it?

Also the drug developed which cured mice of Alzheimer’s in a matter of days is not on the market yet. It’s only available for researchers but is showing great promise. It works by clearing blocked channels in the brain.

With my history I certainly know the toxic effect of metals. Suggesting they are cleared out through a healthy digestive system however is not well considered. Biological responses to metals play a huge role in disease

Do you know the Dr Wahls protocol? She is a docteor and had MS and changed her diet, she went from whellchair to bicycle. Could this diet help in other issues? There is just now , in France, a study on ALS and microbiome done.

Very logical for me. I studied micronutrition after big pharma and proposed this diet at some clients who felt better. Even in other issues.

I totally buy the gut health, obesity, and insulin contributions. Add to that:

Dietary niacin and the risk of incident Alzheimer’s disease and of cognitive decline

And a mouse model:

Niacin is one of the supplements used and can certainly help those who have issues which are affected by niacin supplementation. The standard pharma approach is good for a "one cause" problem ... anything with complexity and lifestyle related doesn't do well with the Pharma approach.

Something worth mentioning are pollutants/contaminants in the food supply that causes havoc with the digestive system and denigrate overall metabolic health. Glyphosate and its primary degradant, AMPA, cause multiple issues throughout the body but is particularly harmful to the gut/gut lining and the BBB. Cutting out carbs, fruit and veg from intensively farmed produce really helps whilst consuming bone broth several times a day goes some way in healing the damage.

100%. The toxins damage the gut, increasing permeability and decreasing function. Organic (truly organic) is one of the cornerstones for a healthy gut.
