The Truth Will set us free!
I am not a churchgoer, have never been baptized by a pastor, and have never attended bible studies or weekly church “services”. So don’t judge me too harshly about my opinion on this. If you’re triggered by someone without “official” knowledge of Christianity, please don’t read on.
I love the Bible. I believe it is God’s Word inspired by the Holy Spirit. I think those who believe the Word cause one to have rivers of living water flowing out of their hearts and minds.
I believe Jesus was the Truth manifested in the flesh. Whenever I read the Bible, I tend to replace the word “Jesus” with “the Truth”. Today, many witnesses of the Truth are being persecuted, like John the Baptist. We are all speaking Truth (being witnesses of the Truth). We are not the Truth but witnesses of the Truth (there’s a difference).
John 1:6
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
Witnesses of the Light (i.e. the Truth) have been silenced like John today. In the Bible, John was beheaded. Many are being beheaded today. Being beheaded is symbolic of being cancelled because when one loses their head, one cannot speak. The mouth and the mind have been “separated” from the body. It is similar to “cancel culture”.
The Truth (Jesus) was captured and crucified. When Pontius Pilate asked the crowd who they should free, Jesus or Barrabas, they chose Barrabas. The word Barrabas means “son of the father”. There are two Fathers in the Bible. The Father of Truth and the father of lies.
John 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
Today, many are making their choice, choosing the father of lies. The father of lies works through indoctrination. The Father of Truth works through Revelation. The last book is called “The Revelation of Jesus Christ”. Not the “Indoctrination of Jesus Christ”. When things are “revealed”, it is different from “indoctrination”. Indoctrination thrives through silencing. Revelation succeeds through reasoning. It is similar to Tares vs Wheat. Tares (poison darnel) numbs the mind chemically.
Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.
There is a time when the Truth is resurrected. When Peter tried defending Jesus from the guards, Jesus asked him to put his sword down. It wasn’t time to defend the Truth.
The Truth will come suddenly and swiftly; at that time, every knee will bow, those on the right and those on the left.
Philippians 2:10
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.
So, I encourage my friends to be at Peace because He is the “Prince of Peace”. But don’t be fooled by the “Prince with the Power of the Air”, who is the devil. The prince with the power of the air creates illusions on both the left and right sides of politics. So, you end up getting bounced like a molecule in the air, having no peace!
Ephesians 2:2
in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience…
1 Kings 11:11-12
And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
